Event Description

The International Steampunk Symposium returns for a glorious fourth year, and is moving to a larger location!

2015 Guests of Honour include the bestselling steampunk author Gail Carriger, the notorious steampunk maker Thomas Willeford, the beautiful steampunk model Sarah Hunter (aka Lady Clankington), the worldly Ay-leen the Peacemaker, author Leanna Renee Hieber, and the renowned steampunk artist Myke Amend.

The 2015 Symposium Games will be bigger than ever, truly the steampunk olympics, with new challenges and even more airships competing against each other for the coveted Symposium Games trophy, glory, and badges to Symposium 2016.

It would be my first convention of any kind. Is this a good event for a complete beginner? I would only be able to go one day, which day would be best? I'm kind of thinking Friday, but there's a few things catching my interest for Saturday too.

Look for the Big truck (hopefullly without a trailer like at 2014) parked somewhere nearby. The dates have been approved for time off so we are definitely planning to attend! Ordering badges tomorrow.
