Tonight I was informed that the young lady in the picture was without garments for the 31st annual heist of good from the local citizens in return to not have havoc laid upon them. I suggested she dress like an airship personal as we planned to use Vosh to get from house to house this year since the homes are often far spaced due to lack of people willing to hand out candy.
Loaned to her from my closet headgear, goggles, and boots.
pants and shirt her own

Well I'm a huge scifi fan and tend to pick up some realy poor quality movies now and again some have good stories and poor effects and few are "steampunkish" , I ejoyed sky captain and the world of tomorrow , the golden compass , league of extrodinary gentlemen , ember ,and serenity , they all have some steampunk astetics but would love to see more hardcore steampunk ideas , I did pick up a movie called the mutant cronicals recently , it has some very cool steampunk weapons and machines in it…

At the end of each month we have a cake to welcome new employees and celebrate any birthdays for the month at my office in my non-steampunk other life. Being that it is October, they decided to have a bit of a Halloween celebration with this months cake with costumes and a mask decorating contest. It was an exceedingly good time! With me in my fine airship uniform doing my best to represent the Dreadite Hoard, but as the only Steampunk Crewman at my office I spent most of the day explaining to…

Steamcon 2009 in Seattle, WA was an immense amount of fun. I honestly did not expect to attend until just days before the event, but my sister and wife conspired otherwise for my birthday.
Upon arrival at the Airport Marriot, I quickly got in line. The convention was selling out and quickly. I cannot say for sure, but I heard that the organizers were realistically expecting four to five hundred attendees and instead welcomed well-over twenty seven hundred. I'd call that a success,…

Hello all you Steampunk Empirates!
I have a request, and hope that you will be able to help me with this.
See, I made a new website for S.S. Icarus.
You can find it here:
The Penny Dreadfuls
If you would be so kind as to check out the site for me, browse it a bit, and let me know if you feel there is anything missing. Any information you would like to see up there.
That…

I have a LeMat replica but needed a holster for this massive pistol. All the replica holsters I could find online were cavalry-style holsters with flaps. I didn't want something that hid the destinctive gun so I employed the experience of a friend of mine to make a crossdraw style holster.…

Endeared Sister,
I must first apologize for the abrupt ending of my previous letter. I was understandably excited, both at the prospect of beginning work on dismantling the secrets of Hellstromme's machine but also that, in so doing, I had made him even more my rival.
It has been two, no, three days since I started work on the machine and most of…

Five months of pre-production... and the we finally made our music video!
The very first scene that we shot was myself in a straight jacket, sitting next to a snake named Kowhai... doesn't sound that spectacular, unless you are aware of the extreme terror and screaming that emanates from me when I see a snake! This was exactly what we wanted though.... genuine fear and terror, as someone insane and hallucinating can experience.
I must admit... I am damn…

I've been kickin around the idea of building some steampunk type guns , I recently built a back yard foundry set up and have cast a few things from brass and aluminum , and am kinda bored with the whole nerf gun mod thing , I have a few old black powder guns to use as templates for the main frames and plenty of wood for grips and stocks , I was just wonderin if anyone would be interested in this kinda gun or not , I tend to like things to be as realistic as possible and the plastic stuff just…
