If it was just myself, I would get up at 5am, like I normally do for work, and get going by 6. Euphorbia, on the other hand, is always much more leisurely and is satisfied with arriving just when the convention programming is getting under way mid afternoon so she would have preferred to leave at 10. I thought 8am was a reasonable compromise.

I know the text on the back is a little off, but it was filler until I got some editing done! I want to get my proof copy ASAP so I can have the book out a couple months ahead of time...I'm now shooting for June instead of August!

Steampunk...Diesel-Cyber...and probably steampunk accents in between. I really feel like steampunk is not the house on the corner with the white fence. Don't distress, I hate white and I'm not a fence post either. However, my love Brant, he absorbed steampunk as if it's the gang he waited all of his life to join. He's creative, and his jewelry is distinctive steampunkedness at its best. I on the other hand, write. My skin, well it shut its doors to steampunk in Gettysburg at the convention.…

I need to have a garment brush. Wearing dry-clean only jackets, vests, pants and frock coats to steampunk and Cowboy Action events, I should really brush them down more often. I also have several hats that could use a good brushing. So, on the way home yesterday I stopped by Heinz Healey’s on 5th Avenue.
