I have just finished watching David Tennant's final outing as Doctor Who and wow he blew out of the water.
I love all the actors who have played the part of this intergalactic hero and ok one or two were not to crash hot but hey they at least help keep the show on the air and for this I am so greatful.
I look like a cross between Patrick Troughton and Paul McGann and did a fun picture as my version of a fictional future Dr.…

I have a dilemma of exponentially dire proportions. Least to myself. Work just isn't cutting it, and school is getting harder, I'm thinking of transferring out of computer engineering in favor of a drastic cut in schooling time and taking up welding. Less numbers (which do seem to jumble themselves up in my head something fierce.)
If I thought I was losing myself before all this, Ive completely lost sight of what I want.

Oy, computer problems abound today. (In related news, I owe a lot of people email.) Let's see if this rewritten entry will post. Suspense!

Written by Nic (the present day steampunker).
Now that my fingers are nearly blistered from stitching on a particular piece of costuming, I've decided that it no longer works in the grander scheme of the outfit and have exiled it to the closet. It's not all a waste, since I'm sure I'll use it at some point in the future. It just would have been nice to hang on to the $10 it put me out. I'm trying to finalize my outfit for the Toronto Meet and Greet in July. And by finalize I…

Despite that my entire being is sure of its rightness, Arabella refuses me marriage. She says," Marriage is an evil institution invented by man for the enslavement of woman. and will probably be dissolved when women get the vote." She is a modern woman and I love her strength, but I have never been so unsure of how to proceed in all my life. Temporal mathematics are easy in comparison.

They made their way back to Siberia and circled the explosion point trying to reconnect with me. Weeks passed. Failure to "find" me, augmented with diminishing supplies, and fear of reconnecting with another ship full of strange men, lead them to abandon the area. Unsure of what to do, they turned westward toward Scotland and friends of Arabella. It was not an uneventful trip.

What was a week's passage for me was months for those on the Dragon.
Wondrous! In a mater of minutes, they were blown safely in the bubble
all of the way to Japan. When the bubble burst, they landed and made
repairs. I imagine they were quite the topic of conversation, but not
even Arabella spoke the language. I was to their eyes a frozen ghostly
form on the ship the entire time.

Home. Not many men would call a vacuum ship home, but it is
mine. Truly. When I re-entered this chrono-thread, I appeared right behind
Arabella. She spun around and in 2 seconds slapped me, said something in Scott's
Gaelic, began to cry, and then kissed me with such a forward passion that
I felt positively dizzy. We have much catching up to do. The Dragon is
beneath my feet. I care not where else I am. Home.

It is quite a series of quandaries. The self that constructed this chronostabilizer helmet may have ended his existence by sending it to me. I would not be alive without the derringer in my pocket, and what changes have I wrought in my wanderings in the many moments of stilled time I have encountered? It is a temporal swamp. I must get to work on this new field of mathematics. Wait. YES!

Three temporal jumps today. Whatever the term" today" might mean. None featured the chronometer. The easiest way to carry the helmet is to wear it, but I have not turned it on.That will wait until I am looking at Arabella and the Dragon. During one jump, I found breathing difficult. Far in the distant past or I suppose the future- hot and humid- trees like giant ferns. If I did not think about it, I did not breathe. Fascinating

I fully admit that the "Mechanical Kingdom" images that have been all the rage the past few days leave me cold. When I told Mr. Cannes about it, he thought I was talking about this other thing from last year instead...
This? This I can get behind:

Kingdom of Epic Mickey… Continue

Some future self has apparently sent me a present- two presents to be exact. The first is a detailed set of instructions on how to set the the controls on the chronometer the next time I see it-to return me to The Dragon. The other gift takes up the bulk of the package. It is an odd steam powered metal helm labeled, "Chronostibilizer." Its purpose seems to be to protect me from these temporal shifts.

Shifted to Feb. 11. Placed the spool of thread like material and note into my pocket from the past. Shifted again to a date I can not determine. Both doors to the workshop appear to be chained shut from the outside and the windows boarded. I sit at the dark work table waiting to shift again. ? A package just appeared in front of me, labeled in my handwriting," only for Shifting Wolfram."
