STEWARDS of the AETHER

Posted on October 11, 2014 at 4:08pm 0 Comments

Welcome citizens of Terra and wayfarers of the sky and to the Stewards whom have gallantly served their nation to protect the innocent. I beseech you to come and join this selfless cause.

For it is said: Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2

Our purchase has been made and prize evident, a thing most courageous. A faith gained knowing the Lord has positioned us to uphold his word. Forgive my zealous approach... not to be overt… Continue

In British English to go down a Bomb is a good thing ! I understand to Bomb on your side of the pond is a bad thing ! Who dares wins is the motto of our best military chaps.  Our Bar tender Jack, King of teh African Blimps adn Dirigibles has encouraged me when I got a bit down with a rather  cursory One star review. So stick at it he convinced me that to get any reaction is a good thing.  The other cliche I would send to you is you have got to be in to to win it!  Your artistic work is excellent and some of the best literature has had distinctive illustrations. Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C S Lewis, Just So stories Rudyard Kipling and even Hugh Loftings Dr Doolittle ( Ok these might be called children's stories but the appeal  is timeless). If you can keep the action moving fast and avoid too much blood and adult references you story might have an enormous market. Worth thinking about whether illustrations translate into kindle easily. Getting a bit techie but I would have two versions one pure story for Kindle and one with illustrations for your paper version ( makes it a bit special too)

All you need now is African sun and that strange buzzing noise of the cicadas or is it cicadas?

Yours Aye Stevo

Ms. Jobe,
All submissions must be Steampunk-themed. Generally, 1000-1200 words fits comfortably into a page of The Chronicle. If you would like a profile pic or cover art featured with your work, send that along as well. I look forward to reading your submission!

Thank you Jenny for your invitation to "friend". You have a most complex back story and I am eager to hear more about you. As for myself, my stumbling upon the Doctor was quite accidental but I am never one to turn down an adventure. I am interested in technology and how it can help or in some cases (well ok many) how it can go wrong. I am fascinated by the concept of Automatons mainly because it is such a fun subject! Hence my fascination with Miss Hatchet! Well I'M having fun anyway!

Thank you, Jenny, it's a long time project of mine and, after being dormant for about a year, is starting to pick up again. I'll be posting something about it. Cheers.
