- Hello fellow enthusiasts...
I have been interested in Steam Punk before it was fashionable, or even named...I grew up on such shows as "The Wild Wild West" (have the complete collection on DVD, of course) as well as reading early Shelley works, Jules Verne, etc.... I have been into reenacting of historical nature for years, and into CAS as well...I also have belonged to the SCA.
Since I am an active shooter, I love the "what ifs" in crafting gadgets and firearms...It is especially great to see early firearms, beyond the ornate nature, (wheelocks, as an example) as something that belongs in Steampunk.
