I've found some music from The Steampunk Opera and I really enjoy it, but I can't seem to find anywhere to watch it or see if it's even still running... does anyone know anything about it?Continue

Although I am still just a college student with two more years until graduation I have always had the ambition to open up my own restaurant. I now have the idea for "The Clockwork Cafe", a small restaurant that will serve baked goods, drinks, and lunch/dinner food for all ages with a Steampunk atmosphere located in the Historical Triangle of Virginia (Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown).

ContinueThank you Miss Agatha for the lovely welcome! I read over you're introduction on you're profile. Great Steam Character! Mine is a former shape-shifting mer-species (meaning she can go back and forth between legs and a fin tail). She now chooses to sail the high seas in search for treasure and adventure. :)
Greetings and Welcome. The Empire affords nearly endless opportunities for education and adventure. I invite you to peruse the groups and blogs as well as the discussions. You are sure to discover things that take your fancy and other members of the Empire to interest you.
If you are at all interested in bicycling, please drop by the Steampunk Style Cycling Union. We are a hardy group of wheel mad scorchers and slow riders committed to bringing steampunk style and elegance to the cycling world. Everyday Steampunk explores Steampunk Style as street wear and not just costume.
If you appreciate corsets, you might want to visit The Loyal Order of Corsetted Ladies. We exchange information on the wearing of Victorian style unmentionables in the 21st century and of course post beautiful corsets and where we obtain them.
There are also groups focused on everything from cocktails to engineering and regional groups from Tampa to Juno. For just learning about good manners you might stop off at the Badgermingo Society. Here you will find advice covering all kinds of etiquette in social situations from the convention halls to the secret laboratory.
I have also written a series of blog posts on steampunk style if you are interested in this side of things. You can see them here:http://stylesaysonlyme.blogspot.com/
I hope to see you around the Empire.
Letting Off Steam,
Miss Cherries Jubilee
