Steampunk Toys

How do you do. I would like to hear from fellow toy makers.  I make felt animals and toys.  Is it possible to  make money from these unique patterns ?  Do you have a success story?  I am sitting on my couch watching Psych wondering how I can subsidise my basic income and I'm wondering if this may be an option.  Any feedback at all? Thanking you in anticipation. :)See More

But of course, Milady!  Tis my honor to accept your friendship.  No word on the Den yet.  50 hours and counting...

Thank you, Di!  A little over 24 hours now, and haven't heard anything yet.  Wish I knew what the "norm" is for this process...  Oh, well, it isn't like I'm trying to set up a porn site or recruit for al-Qaeda, so I'm hoping that there won't be a problem.  Stay tuned...

Di,

Re: Calling all Writers:

After careful consideration, I have decided to apply to our leadership to establish a new group for the purposes set forth in my discussion of yesterday.  If it is approved, you will be able to tap into it at http://www.thesteampunkempire.com/group/scribblers-den.  Start checking periodically when you find this.  If it disapproved, I will notify everyone by this medium.  Fingers crossed!  Hope you like it.

The PS Marion is an interesting riverboat.  Are you posting her to Riverboats?

Those are wonderful paddlesteamer pictures.  Would you mind posting them to that discussion?  http://www.thesteampunkempire.com/group/riverboats/forum/topics/murray-river-paddlesteamers-australia  I wonder why Australia went with the sidewheelers and sternwheelers seem to have been an almost exclusively North American mode of transportation?  Depth of the rivers?  Boat builders are just creatures of habit?

I ask since you live a little closer, do you happen to have any more pictures of the paddlesteamers and specifically their steam engines?
