One of our members is a performer with this group.  This event is to raise money for the group to travel - it will be a short performance, so come early.

I just wanted to pass along some info about an upcoming performance and fun event with my Latvian folk dance troupe:

 

 

Seattle's Latvian Folk Dance troupe Trejdeksnitis will appear at the

Latvian Christmas Bazaar

featuring handcrafted items and delicious treats from the Latvian community of Seattle and beyond.

Saturday, November 10--  10am-4pm

Sunday, November 11-- 12pm-4pm

At the Latvian Cultural Center-11710 3rd Ave NE
(a few blocks north of the Target at Northgate Mall--go north on 5th Ave NE, turn left/west on 117th. Continue until you reach the end of the street. The Center is in the cul-de-sac to the right. The parking lot fills up quickly, so you might need to find parking on the street)

Trejdeknitis will be performing a few dances on Saturday, November 10, starting at 12:30.  We are raising funds this year to travel and perform in the Song Festival in Rīga, Latvija. We'll have our own tables of special merchandise on offer. Don't miss it!

The Steampunk Exhibition Ball is a go for 2013.  It will be held on March 9 at the Museum of History and Industry.  I will post more information as it is available.
